Where The West Gets Wild
— Megan Peralta
For those with a Wild West side, Ramona Rodeo is your chance to be a part of one of the West’s most exciting exhibitions.
Each spring, spectators can cheer and gasp, as cowboys and cowgirls compete in bareback riding, tie-down roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, bull riding, team roping, barrel racing, mutton busting and much more.
The events are held in an Olympic-size equestrian arena with a big-screen scoreboard that plays the buck-by-buck reruns, and rodeo clowns and queens will be on hand to make sure the competition doesn’t get too tame.
The rodeo grounds are located at the Ramona Outdoor Community Center, 421 Aqua Ln.
