A quaint, eight-acre community park situated in the heart of Ramona, Collier County Park is popular with families, dog-walkers and more. Located at 626 E St., the park offers a number of features for guests to enjoy, from multiple playgrounds and picnic areas, to walking paths, gardens, basketball and tennis courts, and more. Birdwatchers may be pleased with the large variety of birds that flock to the park. Ramona’s visitors and residents are blessed with two picturesque parks overflowing with activities and wildlife viewing opportunities. the Ramona Garden Club in the back corner, the park is bursting with beauty. As the first park established in San Diego County, Collier County Park is not one to miss! Dos Picos County Park Resting in the shadows of the foothills, Dos Picos County Park is surrounded by nature and beauty. Outdoor enthusiasts will find a variety of activities, including camping and fishing, and a nature trail that brings visitors a little closer to the area’s diverse wildlife. Many people come for the day to enjoy the beautiful picnic spots and pond — and wish they could stay longer. The park offers tent and RV sites, as well as small cabins. Day-use parking is $3 per vehicle. Located at 17953 Dos Picos Park Rd., the park is open year-round, and its remote but convenient location offers the ideal place to get away.
