For more than a decade, the Ramona community has been a strong supporter of the National Day of the Cowboy.
Local festivities, presented by Kiwanis of Ramona, will take place July 28, from noon to 5 p.m., at Mountain Valley Ranch, 842 Highway 78.
Among the many activities will be a barn dance, cowboy reenactments, chuck wagon food, vendor and informational booths, and silent auctions, in addition to an opportunity drawing for a Pietta Colt .45 revolver.
Admission is free. Proceeds are earmarked for the club’s local charitable projects. Visit www.kiwanisramonaca.org for information.
Ramona is an equine-friendly town, which makes it the perfect place to celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy.
