An Independence Day Celebration
“Look to the sky this Fourth of July!”
That’s what Ramona Rotary President Kim Lasley encourages people to do, as they come and
enjoy the spectacular event that’s planned for this year’s Independence Day celebration.
Whether it is your yearly tradition or your first time attending, Ramona’s Fourth of July celebration is sure to please. Presented by Ramona Rotary Club, this annual event is scheduled to take place Thursday, July 4, at 5 p.m., at Olive Peirce Middle School, 1521 Hanson Ln.
The free, family-friendly event will feature food and merchandise vendors, plus a kids’ zone with a bunch of activities, including an obstacle course and face painting.
Guests are invited to make a day of it and bring blankets, chairs and a picnic. No alcohol, smoking or pets are permitted. Folks are also welcome to bring radios, as the fireworks display will be synchronized to patriotic music on KYXY 96.5 radio station.
The main event will begin at 9 p.m., and this year’s show is sure to be an awe-inspiring crowd-pleaser, with hundreds of fireworks shooting into the night sky.
Join the community in coming together to celebrate the birth of our great nation and the many freedoms Americans hold dear!
