Ghosts, skeletons, princesses, superheroes and more will parade through downtown Ramona during the annual Merchants’ Safe Trick or Treat on Main Street, held each year on Halloween.
Sponsored Ramona Chamber of Commerce, the event offers a family-friendly alternative to the traditional door-to-door option.
The event is set to run from 4 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 31, drawing thousands of youngsters to participating businesses along Main Street that hand out candy and other goodies. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Call the Chamber at 760-789-1311 for details.
Not only does it provide a safer way for children to enjoy the holiday, but it gives residents a chance to interact with members of the Ramona business community, making this a truly community-centered event.
In conjunction with the Chamber event, a Trunk or Treat celebration will be presented by classic car enthusiasts in the Albertsons shopping center, with many of their Ramona American Graffiti Cruise vehicles on display.
